01.09.2012 - SRNC Belgium Registrations Open
Registrations have opened up for AIEC-SRNC Belgium (Leuven). We already have a full team registered but may still be able to sign up additional riders. If interested in attending, please email National Responsible, Jennifer Peters (julip_32@hotmail.com)
01.02.2012 - Canada Ends 2011 on a Golden Note
Team Canada wrapped up 2011 in style at recent AIEC-SRNC World Finals Great Britain. Riders Evin Ballantyne, Susan Horn and Jennifer Peters all put in superb show jumping rounds but it was in the dressage arena where the trio really found its foothold. A strong team test performance coupled with an individual 4th for Susan propelled the team to overall Team Gold. A fine send off! Bring on 2012!
10.19.2011 - Registrations Open Soon for World Finals 2011
Registrations for 2011's year end finals, to be held in Great Britain from December 29th to January 1st, will open on October 24th. All interested riders and supporters are asked to contact either their NR or TD to nominate themselves for the competition. We wish to have a team assembled ahead of the October 24th deadline so please contact your execs as soon as possible.
09.20.2011 - Team Canada Takes Show Jumping Gold
Team Canada recently dominated the show jumping division at AIEC-SRNC Italy and returned home with the Gold Medal. All three team members kicked in for the victory with each advancing to at least second round. Congratulations also to Holly Hayman for claiming the individual Silver. Canada's strong SJ performance boosted them additionally to the Silver Medal for Team Overall. Molto bene!
07.15.2011 - Membership Dues & Incentives
Information regarding constitutional changes to membership dues have been posted on the Membership page. Effective immediately, all members who pay their annual membership dues by February 1st will receive a discount of $25. There is also a new incentive program in place to encourage recruitment of new members. Please take a moment to review these changes and feel free to contact your executives with any questions you may have.
07.14.2011 - Italy Registrations Now Open
Registrations for AIEC-SRNC Italy (Sardinia) have opened and sign up has begun. To attend, please contact National Responsible, Jennifer Peters. Historically, this competition has been popular and has filled quickly. If you would like to attend, please inquire as soon as possible to apply as a rider or supporter. CURCA is pleased to welcome two new members to our organisation, Cierra Chmiliar and Maddy Riddle, from Alberta. These new riders will be representing Canada at upcoming AIEC-SRNC Spain in August. Best wishes!

Rider and supporter registrations have opened up for AIEC-SRNC Spain (Bilbao) to run between August 11 - 14, 2011. Please e-mail Jennifer Peters to nominate yourself to attend.
04.30.2011 - AIEC-SRNC Netherlands
Registrations for AIEC-SRNC Netherlands (De Mortel) have opened and will remain open until May 13th. CURCA was unable to send a team to upcoming SRNC Romania so we are looking to form a competitive trio for Holland. Please contact Jennifer Peters ASAP to sign up to compete.

03.10.2011 - Board of Directors Appointments and Changes
The organisation regrets to announce that long-time member and previous National Responsible, Caylee Villet, has elected to step down from her position on CURCA's Board of Directors. We wish her the best of luck in her riding and non-riding persuits. CURCA would also like to annouce that Becky Steer has decided to reliquish her position as Training Co-ordinator but pleased that she wishes to continue to serve on the CURCA board. Other changes include the addition of current Technical Director, Susan Horn, to a board position. Congratulations!
01.11.2011 - AIEC-SRNC Ireland Officialised
SRNC Ireland 2011 has been officially confirmed by AIEC. The competition will run March 17th through 20th in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Registrations open on January 17th, 2011. If you wish to attend, please email NR Jennifer Peters to nominate yourself as an attendee. Please note that paid members will have priority for team selection and that all fees must be paid before registration is possible. There will be no exceptions to this rule. 01.06.2011 - 2011 Membership Fees
Please be aware that 2011 membership fees are now due. Please send payment of $85, late fee of $100 after February 1st, to Becky Steer (30 Gardenvale Cres, London, Ontario N6J 4B9). Please make all cheques payable to CURCA. New this year, you may also wire funds directly to CURCA or use our new paypal account. E-mail your Financial Director at fd@canadianstudentriders.com for more information on these last two options.

08.01.2010 - WUEC Team Announced
CURCA is proud to announce the official team to be submitted for the World University Equestrian Championships to be held October 28th - November 3rd in Sangju, South Korea. Our congratulations and best wishes go out to Brittany DesCotes, Jaclyn Duff and Holly Hayman for their selection for this prestigious event.
07.20.2010 - Canada Dominates in London
Team Canada took home (just about all of the) awards at recent AIEC-SRNC Canada held in London, Ontario. Six Canadian riders rose superbly to the challenge of competing on the home front and put in winning performance after winning performance. Team Canada clinched every single gold medal as well as numerous other honours. Check back soon for full coverage down of their successes!
